Miguel Sáenz became an expert in translating books from German into Spanish. Some of the famous German writers he translated include Bertolt Brecht, Günter Grass, and Thomas Bernhard. He even wrote a book about Thomas Bernhard. Miguel Sáenz also translated books from English, by authors like William Faulkner and Salman Rushdie.
Recognitions and Memberships
Since 1999, Miguel Sáenz has been a member of the German Academy for Language and Poetry. This is a special group that celebrates German language and literature.
