Milly Shapiro is an American actress and singer. She is famous for her role in the 2018 horror movie Hereditary and for her work on Broadway. In 2021, Milly and her friend Spencer Arjang started a band called AFTERxCLASS.
At a young age, she received a special Tony Award for her performance in the musical Matilda the Musical. This made her one of the youngest people ever to win this famous theater award.

Broadway Beginnings
Milly Shapiro became famous in 2013 when she starred as Matilda Wormwood in the Broadway show Matilda the Musical. Her performance was so good that she, along with the other girls who played Matilda, received a Tony Honor. This is a special award for outstanding work in theater.
Because of her role in Matilda, Milly was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2013. The nomination was for the "Best Musical Theater Album" along with the rest of the cast.
Movie and TV Roles
In 2018, Milly starred as Charlie Graham in the scary movie Hereditary. She has also appeared in several TV shows. She played Emma Rebecca in an episode of Splitting Up Together and was a guest judge on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula. She also did voice acting for the animated show JJ Villard's Fairy Tales.
Personal Life
Milly's older sister, Abi Monterey, is also an actress and a stuntwoman. The two sisters sometimes perform together and are known as the Shapiro Sisters.
Milly, her sister, and her mother were all born with a rare genetic condition called cleidocranial dysostosis. This condition affects the development of bones and teeth.
