Mimi is a small community located in the northern part of Taranaki, on the North Island of New Zealand. It sits right next to State Highway 3, very close to the coast of the North Taranaki Bight. Mimi is about 6 kilometres north-east of Urenui and 26 kilometres south-west of Ahititi. The Mimi River flows through the area and into the North Taranaki Bight.

Pukearuhe Marae
Pukearuhe Marae is located right on the Mimi coast. It features a meeting house named Tama Ariki. This Marae is connected to the Ngāti Tama tribe.
In October 2020, the New Zealand government provided money to upgrade the marae. This project helped create an estimated 25 jobs in the area.
