Trần Thị Minh Tuyết (born October 15, 1976, in Ho Chi Minh City), known as Minh Tuyết, is a popular Vietnamese-American pop singer. She is famous for her performances on Thúy Nga's Paris by Night show. Her sisters, Cẩm Ly and Hà Phương, are also singers who perform with her. Many people in the Vietnamese-American community call her the Vietnamese Pop Princess.

Minh Tuyết's full name is Trần Thị Minh Tuyết, which means "Morning Snow" in English. She was born on October 15, 1976, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She grew up in a big family with four sisters and two brothers. From a young age, Minh Tuyết loved music and started singing in public when she was little. Her father also enjoyed music and wrote songs as a hobby. Her two older sisters, Cẩm Ly and Hà Phương, are also well-known singers.

Starting Her Music Career

Minh Tuyết began her professional singing career at 17. Her first public performance was at Trống Đồng in Ho Chi Minh City. She really wanted to follow in her sister Cẩm Ly's footsteps and become a singer. At first, her parents were worried about her being in the public eye. However, they later gave her permission to pursue her dream.

Minh Tuyết signed a music contract with Tình Music. Her first video with the company featured her song "Em Vẫn Đợi Anh," which became very popular. Over several years with Tình Music, she released many hit songs. These included "Lang Thang," "Quán Vắng Một Mình," and "Mãi Là Người Đến Sau." The company even released a special video just for her, called "Về Cuối Đường Tình."

Joining Thúy Nga Productions

In 2002, Minh Tuyết was touring in Australia with Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn, a host from Paris by Night. He was very impressed by her voice. He then introduced her to the producers at Thúy Nga Productions. After her contract with Tình Music ended, Minh Tuyết decided to join Thúy Nga. Her first performance with them was in Paris, France, for Paris by Night 65.

Famous Duets

About six years later, in 2008, Minh Tuyết started singing duets with male singer Bằng Kiều. Their first duet album, "Bởi Vì Anh Yêu Em," for Paris by Night 93, was a huge success. People loved their performances together. They continued to sing together in many Paris by Night shows, concerts, and albums. Fans often call them the "perfect duo."
