Minnow on the Say was an exciting Canadian TV show for kids. It was an adventure series that aired on CBC Television in 1960. The show was based on a book called Minnow on the Say. This book was written by Philippa Pearce in 1955. She also wrote another very famous book, Tom's Midnight Garden.
About the Story
This TV show was made in Vancouver, Canada. It followed the adventures of two boys. They had a special canoe named The Minnow. The boys went on a treasure hunt along the Sayfor River. They were looking for a treasure that was buried a long time ago. An ancestor of the boys had hidden it way back in 1588. Peter Statner helped turn the book into a TV show.
