Miquel Asins Arbó was born in Barcelona, Spain. When he was a child, his family moved to Valencia. There, he studied music composition at the Conservatory of Valencia. His teacher was a famous musician named Manuel Palau.
In 1944, Miquel became a bandmaster for military groups. He worked in both Valencia and Madrid. Later, in 1976, he started teaching at the Madrid Royal Conservatory. He taught a subject called accompaniment, which is about playing music to support a main singer or instrument. He held this important teaching job until 1985.
Miquel Asins Arbó passed away in Valencia when he was 79 years old. A public square in Valencia, called Plaza Miguel Asins Arbó, is named in his honor. This shows how much he was respected and remembered for his contributions to music.
