Growing Popularity and New Owners
After their successful start, Miss Vickie's chips became very popular. Over the next few years, they were made and sold from Pointe-Claire, Quebec. The chips became famous all across Canada. They even made up 1% of the total chip market in the country.
On February 1, 1993, a big change happened. The company Hostess Frito-Lay bought Miss Vickie's. Today, Miss Vickie's chips are still a favourite snack for many people.
