Montecristo National Park is a special place in El Salvador, a country in Central America. It's a big national park that protects a unique type of forest called a cloud forest. This park is found in the very north-western part of El Salvador.
Montecristo National Park was created in 2008. It covers an area of about 19.73 square kilometers, which is like protecting a big piece of nature!
This park is also part of something even bigger. It joins with other protected areas in Honduras and Guatemala to form the Trifinio Fraternidad Transboundary Biosphere Reserve. This means three countries work together to protect this important natural area.
