The very highest spot in the Moosic Mountains is located in Jefferson Township. This peak reaches an elevation of 2,323 feet (or about 708 meters) above sea level. That's pretty high! This makes it the tallest point in an area called the Pocono Plateau. It's also the 27th highest point in all of Pennsylvania.
