Morganville, Ohio facts for kids
Morganville is a small place in Morgan County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community," which means it's a group of homes and businesses that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or a village does. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
A Look Back at Morganville's History
Morganville was first planned out and settled in the year 1833. This was a time when many new communities were being formed across Ohio. A few years later, in 1844, a post office opened there. It was called "Morgansville" back then. This post office helped people send and receive letters and packages for many years. It stayed open until 1908, when it finally closed down.
