Mystery by Moonlight is an exciting book in the popular Nancy Drew Mystery series. It's the 167th story about the famous teen detective, Nancy Drew, and it was first published in July 2002 by Simon & Schuster.

Unraveling the Mystery

This thrilling mystery begins when Nancy Drew, along with her best friends Bess Marvin and George Fayne, and her boyfriend Ned Nickerson, decide to house-sit. They are staying at a cozy cabin owned by George's cousin, Jason. What starts as a relaxing trip quickly turns spooky!

The Spooky Cabin Adventure

One night, Bess becomes convinced that the cabin is haunted. She hears strange noises coming from what sounds like an attic. The only problem is, the cabin doesn't have an attic! This makes the mystery even more puzzling. Nancy, being the clever detective she is, decides to investigate these mysterious sounds. As she digs deeper, she uncovers more than just strange noises. She soon finds herself tangled in a much bigger secret, involving a hidden family treasure! Join Nancy as she tries to solve the riddle of the "haunted" cabin and find the valuable treasure.

From Book to Game

Fans of Nancy Drew can enjoy this mystery in more ways than one! In November 2002, a company called Her Interactive released a computer game based loosely on this book. The game is called Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake. It was the 7th computer game in the Nancy Drew series and also took inspiration from a short story in the Nancy Drew Ghost Stories collection. So, you can read the book and then play the game to experience the mystery in a whole new way!
