What is Skyrunning and Trail Running?
Running in Nature
Skyrunning is a sport where athletes run in the mountains, often at very high altitudes. It can be super steep and challenging! Trail running is similar, but it takes place on trails and paths, usually in natural environments like forests or hills. Both sports require a lot of endurance and strength.
Why are these sports special?
Unlike running on a flat track, skyrunning and trail running involve changing landscapes. Runners might go up steep hills, cross rivers, or navigate rocky paths. This makes every race a unique adventure and a true test of a runner's abilities.
