Nagako Konishi, born on September 16, 1945, is a talented composer from Japan. She creates many different kinds of music.
About Nagako Konishi
Nagako Konishi was born in Agematsu, a town in Nagano, Japan. She loved music and studied it at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, graduating in 1971.
After her studies in Japan, she went to the United States to continue learning. She attended the University of California at Berkeley. Nagako Konishi also became the head of the Japan Federation of Women Composers. This group helps support and promote women who compose music. In 1971, she won first prize for her compositions in the All-Japan Chorus League, which was a big achievement!
