Naohiro Tamura was born in Tokushima, Japan, on July 3, 1978. He loved football from a young age. He began playing seriously in high school. After high school, he continued to play football at Momoyama Gakuin University.
Starting His Professional Journey
In July 2000, while still studying at university, Naohiro joined a professional football club called Gamba Osaka. This club plays in the J1 League, which is the top professional football league in Japan. Even though he was part of the team, he did not play in any official matches for Gamba Osaka before 2002.
Playing for Sagan Tosu
In July 2002, Naohiro moved to a different club, Sagan Tosu. This team played in the J2 League, which is the second-highest professional league in Japan. At Sagan Tosu, he played in many matches during 2002. He often played as a midfielder, helping his team in the middle of the field. However, in 2003, he did not get to play as often.
Time with Ehime FC
In 2004, Naohiro joined Ehime FC. At that time, Ehime FC was part of the Japan Football League. This league was one step below the J2 League. He played in a few matches for Ehime FC and even scored one goal. He stopped playing professional football at the end of the 2006 season.
