Natasha Jonas (born June 18, 1984) is a well-known British professional boxer. She has made history in the sport. Natasha is a two-weight world champion. This means she has won major titles in two different weight classes. Since 2022, she has held the unified WBC and WBO female light-middleweight titles.

Before becoming a professional, Natasha was a successful amateur boxer. She won a bronze medal at the 2011 Women's European Amateur Boxing Championships. She also earned a bronze medal at the 2012 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships. In 2014, she won a silver medal at the 2014 Women's European Amateur Boxing Championships.

Amateur Boxing Career

Natasha Jonas started boxing in 2005. By 2010, she had won five ABA Championships. These were in the 64 kg weight division. She boxed for the Rotunda ABC club in Liverpool. In 2009, she became the first female boxer to compete for GB Boxing. This was a big step for women's boxing.

Manager Role

In 2023, Natasha Jonas achieved another first. She became the first black woman to get a manager's license. This license was given by the British Boxing Board of Control. This allows her to manage other boxers.

Personal Life

Natasha Jonas first wanted to be a footballer. She even spent 18 months in the United States on a football scholarship. She attended St. Peter's College, New Jersey. After an injury ended her football career, she returned to the United Kingdom. She then studied media studies at Edge Hill University, Lancashire.
