Natasha Jonas (born on June 18, 1984) is a British professional boxer. She is a two-weight world champion. She held the WBC and WBO female light-middleweight titles. As an amateur boxer, she won several medals. These included bronze at the 2011 European Championships. She also won bronze at the 2012 AIBA World Championships. In 2014, she earned a silver medal at the European Championships.

Becoming a Boxer
Natasha Jonas started boxing in 2005. By 2010, she had won five national championships. She competed in the 64 kg division for her club in Liverpool. In 2009, she made history. She became the first female boxer to join the GB Boxing team. That same year, she won a gold medal. This was at the 2009 European Union Amateur Boxing Championships. Natasha Jonas was the first British female boxer to compete at an Olympic Games. In her first fight, she faced Quanitta Underwood from the United States. Natasha won clearly with a score of 21:13. About Natasha's Life
Natasha Jonas first wanted to be a footballer. She even went to college in the United States on a football scholarship. An injury ended her football career. She then returned to the UK and studied media. She worked for Liverpool City Council for five years. She also mentored young people for four years. She helped promote sports and healthy living to school children.
Natasha is the older sister of footballer Nikita Parris.
