Nate is Late is a fun animated TV show. It was created by Sylvain Huchet and Peter Saisselin. This series is made by Watch Next Media, and KidsFirst helps share it. What's the Show About?

Imagine this: Every morning, Nate and Malika try to go to school. But guess what? They always get pulled into amazing adventures! These adventures make them super late for class. When they finally get to school, their principal, Principal Prudence, never believes their wild tales. It's always a funny challenge for them to explain!

Meet the Characters

  • Nate (voiced by Jane O'Brien) – Nate is a young boy who loves adventures. He is always excited to explore new things. He wears a yellow t-shirt, jeans, and a green backpack. In other countries, he is known as Oscar or Mats.
  • Malika (voiced by Sarah Aubrey) – Malika is Nate's best friend. She is smart and joins Nate on all his exciting journeys. She has dark hair in a ponytail and wears a white shirt with a red sweater.
  • Principal Prudence (voiced by Aubrey) – She is the principal of Nate and Malika's school. Every day, she asks them why they are late. She finds their adventure stories hard to believe.

The last two episodes, "The Invaders,” are a big adventure. Nate, Malika, and Principal Prudence get taken by aliens! The aliens want to use their memories to take over Earth. After they escape, the aliens start their invasion too early. Nate and Malika then call on all the friends they met during the season to help stop them.
