National Assembly (Malawi) facts for kids
The National Assembly of Malawi is the main law-making group for the country. It is located in Lilongwe, the capital city, on a place called Capital Hill. This Assembly has the most important power to create laws and make big decisions for Malawi.
The person in charge of the National Assembly is called the Speaker of the House. The Speaker is chosen by the other members of the Assembly. Since June 19, 2019, the Speaker has been Catherine Gotani Hara.
