Georgetown Loop Railroad

The Georgetown Loop Railroad is a famous narrow-gauge railway that runs between Georgetown and Silver Plume. It was listed on December 18, 1970. This train line was a big deal for mining in the area. Today, you can still ride it and see amazing mountain views!

Georgetown-Silver Plume Historic District

Hamill House

Hotel de Paris

The Bryan Hose House is at the junction of Illinois and Virginia Streets in Idaho Springs. It was added to the list on March 19, 1998. This was another early fire station for the town.

Echo Lake Park

Echo Lake Park is located southwest of Idaho Springs, along State Highways 5 and 103. It became a historic district on February 24, 1995. This beautiful park offers stunning mountain views and was developed for recreation.

Hose House No. 2

Another fire station, Hose House No. 2, is at 600 Colorado Boulevard in Idaho Springs. It was listed on March 19, 1998. It's interesting to see how many of these old fire houses are preserved.

Idaho Springs Downtown Commercial District

The main business area of Idaho Springs, roughly bounded by Center Alley, 14th Avenue, Riverside Drive, and Idaho Street, was listed on January 5, 1984. This district shows what a busy mining town's downtown looked like.
