The Gernt Office is on State Route 52 in Allardt. This building was once the office for the Allardt Land Company. This company helped people move to and settle in the Allardt area in the late 1800s. It was listed in 1991.

Bruno Gernt House

The Bruno Gernt House is on Base Line Road in Allardt. This was the home of Bruno Gernt, who lived from 1851 to 1932. He was the person who founded the town of Allardt! His home became a historic place in 1987.

Old Fentress County Jail

In Jamestown, at the corner of North Smith Street and State Route 52, stands the Old Fentress County Jail. This old jail was listed in 1984. Today, it's not a jail anymore! It's now a museum called the Ye Olde Jail Museum, where you can learn about its past.

Alvin C. York Institute Historic District

In Jamestown, on U.S. Route 127, you'll find the Alvin C. York Agricultural Institute Historic District. This area was listed in 1991. The institute is a school that was started by Sergeant Alvin C. York to help young people get a good education.

Alvin Cullom York Farm

The Alvin Cullom York Farm is located on U.S. Route 127 in Pall Mall. This farm is extra special because it's a National Historic Landmark! It was listed in 1976. This was the home of Sergeant Alvin C. York, a hero from World War I. Today, it's part of the Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park.

Youngs Historic District
