Special Historic Places in Morgan County
Devil's Gate-Weber Hydroelectric Power Plant Historic District
This historic district is located near I-84, east of its junction with US-89, in Weber Canyon. It was added to the National Register on April 20, 1989. A hydroelectric power plant uses the power of moving water to create electricity. This district shows how people used natural resources to bring power to homes and businesses a long time ago. It's a great example of early engineering!
Daniel Heiner House
You can find the Daniel Heiner House at 543 N. 700 East in Morgan, Utah. This house became a historic place on December 20, 1978. It's a significant home that tells us about the people who lived in Morgan County many years ago and how they built their lives.
Morgan Elementary School
The original Morgan Elementary School was located at 75 N. 100 East in Morgan. It was added to the National Register on April 9, 1986. Morgan Union Pacific Depot

Mormon Flat Breastworks

South Round Valley School
