The Story of Naturally Fresh
Naturally Fresh started in 1966. It was first called Eastern Foods. The company was founded by Robert H. Brooks, who also started Hooters of America. At first, Eastern Foods sold non-dairy creamer to airlines.
Becoming Naturally Fresh
In 1980, Eastern Foods launched a new line of products called the Naturally Fresh brand. People really liked these products. So, in 2002, the company decided to change its name to Naturally Fresh, Inc. This new name matched their popular brand.
New Leadership and Ownership
In 2003, Robert Brooks retired. His son, Coby G. Brooks, became the President and CEO of the company.
Later, in 2012, Naturally Fresh was bought by another large company called TreeHouse Foods. This meant Naturally Fresh became part of a bigger family of food brands.
