Nevio Marasović has been passionate about making movies since he was a teenager. He has created several award-winning films and has also worked in television.

Getting Started in Movies

Marasović directed his first movie, called The Computer Repairment, when he was only sixteen years old. After finishing high school in 2002, he went to college to study film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb.

While he was still a student in 2005, he made a funny commercial that won many awards at advertising festivals. This commercial became very popular online and turned into an Internet meme. After this success, Marasović directed more than 150 TV commercials across Europe.

Major Film Successes

In 2010, Marasović directed his first major movie, The Show Must Go On. This film was a big success and helped him become famous. It won several important awards at Croatia's national film festival, including the Golden Arena for Best Screenplay.

That same year, he also created a TV comedy show called Instruktor for a Croatian TV channel.
