From 2006 to 2008, Nicolás attended Ricardo Berio's Escuela del Actor. This was an acting school where he learned many important skills. He started his acting journey in Montevideo, his hometown. In 2012, he moved to Argentina to pursue more acting opportunities. There, he got a role in a telenovela called Digo. A telenovela is a type of long-running TV drama, very popular in Latin America.
