Nikhil Uprety (also spelled Nikhil Upreti) is a famous Nepali actor, director, producer, and martial artist. He is known as one of the most popular and successful actors in Nepali cinema history. People especially know him for his action-packed and social drama movies.
During his most active years, Nikhil Uprety was the highest-paid actor in the Nepali film industry. He was also famous for doing his own stunts in movies. This made him a very respected action movie star in Nepal.
Nikhil Uprety's Film Career
Nikhil Uprety started his acting journey in the year 2000. His first movie was an action thriller called Pinjada. In this film, he did something amazing: he jumped from a seven-story building in Kathmandu without any safety gear or a stunt double! This daring act became a huge talking point at the time.
Early Success and Hit Movies
After his debut, Nikhil Uprety starred in many successful movies. Some of his biggest hits include Shiva Shakti, Agnipath, Dhadkan, and Papi Manchhe. He also appeared in its sequel, Papi Manchhe 2. Other popular films were Abhimanyu, Hami Tin Bhai, Nikhil Dai, Savdhan, and Dag.
