Her Journey on Food Network Star
In 2013, Nikki Dinki joined the ninth season of the Food Network show Food Network Star. This show looks for new TV cooking talents. During the competition, Nikki often talked about her "meat-on-the-side" cooking style. This means she focuses on vegetables but still includes a little meat. She finished in fifth place on the show.
Co-Hosting Junk Food Flip
After Food Network Star, Nikki Dinki got a chance to host her own show. In 2014, she filmed a pilot episode for a show called Junk Food Flip for the Cooking Channel. The show was picked up for a full series in 2015. Nikki co-hosted it with fellow chef Bobby Deen. Junk Food Flip premiered on June 2, 2015, and ran until 2016. On the show, they would take unhealthy "junk food" dishes and transform them into healthier, delicious meals.
Family Life
Nikki Dinki is married to Evan Siegert, who is a lawyer. They got married in 2010. Nikki has two daughters. She created a special recipe called "Willa's Lemonade Cheesecakes" in honor of her first daughter, Willa. Her second daughter, Ivy, was born in May 2016.
