Nirapara is a popular food brand from India. It started making food products in 1988. The brand became well-known for its wheat products. Later, it also started selling rice, spices, and pickles. In 2022, a company called Wipro Consumer Care bought the part of Nirapara that makes rice and spices.

The Story of Nirapara

The Nirapara brand has an interesting history. It began with two different companies that later came together.

How Nirapara Began

Nirapara Roller Flour Mills Pvt Ltd started in Kottayam, Kerala. It was founded by P.V. Francis, who was a well-known merchant. His company focused on wheat and rice products. Today, his son, P.F. Joseph, leads this part of the business.

Growth of KKR Group

Another company, KKR Group, was started by K. K. Karnan. He began with a small rice mill in Okkal, near Kochi. Mr. Karnan worked hard to make his mill bigger and more modern. He started making many different food items.

Becoming a Big Food Brand

K. K. Karnan brought all his products under one name: Nirapara. This helped Nirapara become a famous food brand in South India. Their products are now sent from Kerala to 32 other countries. You can find Nirapara foods in places like the US, UK, Canada, and countries in West Asia.

A New Chapter with Wipro

In 2022, Wipro Consumer Care bought KKR Mills. This means that the part of Nirapara that makes rice, spices, and other food products is now owned by Wipro. This was a big step for the Nirapara brand.
