About Noah Watts

Noah Watts was born in Livingston, Montana. He grew up in Bozeman, Montana. His family comes from the Blackfeet Nation.

When Noah was 17, he was still in high school. He got his first acting job in the movie The Slaughter Rule. After that, he took time off school for another film. This was Skins, directed by Chris Eyre. Noah finished Bozeman High School in 2001. He then won a scholarship to study acting in Los Angeles.

While studying, Noah got another role. It was in a film called Skinwalkers. He played a very different character this time. He was a teenage gang leader.

Noah also acted in plays. In "The Indolent Boys," he played a young Native man. This character was at a boarding school in the 1800s. He felt torn between his Native culture and Christian teachings.

In 2005, Noah was in a play called Kino and Teresa. This play was a Native American version of Romeo and Juliet. Noah played the villain, Eladio. He also acted in an independent film. It was called The Last Beyond. In this movie, he played Joe Running Elk. Joe was a young man who started an adventurous life during the Great Depression.

Noah played the main character in a play called "Salvage" in 2008. The play was set in Browning, Montana. It was also performed in London, England, in 2009.

Voice Acting and Video Games

In 2012, Noah got a big voice acting role. He played Ratonhnaké:ton, also known as Connor. Connor is the main hero in the video game Assassin's Creed III. Noah also did the motion capture for Connor. This means his movements were recorded for the character.

He played Connor again in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. He also had a small part as Connor in a chapter for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

When Noah auditioned for Assassin's Creed III, he didn't know much about the game. He only knew it was about the Revolutionary War. After he got the role, he learned it was an Assassin's Creed game. Voice acting for a video game was a new challenge for him. He felt a strong connection to Connor's character.

Noah also had to learn a new language for the game. He learned Kanien'kéha Mohawk. This was challenging because his own tribes, Crow and Blackfeet, are different. They are Plains Indians, so their language and culture are different.

Music Career

After his roles in the Assassin's Creed games, Noah started focusing on music. He was asked to play guitar for a friend's band. This made him take music more seriously.

Noah played as a guitarist for four different bands. Then, he decided to create his own music. He formed his own band called Nickels and Bones. Their music style is like punk rock.
