Nobuyuki Abe (阿部 伸行, Abe Nobuyuki, born 27 April 1984) is a Japanese former professional footballer. He played as a goalkeeper. Goalkeepers are special players who protect their team's goal. They are the only players allowed to use their hands during a game.

Playing Career Highlights

Nobuyuki Abe started his football journey in youth teams. He played for FC Tokyo's Under-18 team from 2000 to 2002. Later, he joined Ryutsu Keizai University F.C. from 2005 to 2006.

Early Professional Years

Abe joined FC Tokyo in 2007. He was part of the team until 2010. During this time, he helped FC Tokyo win the 2009 J.League Cup. This is a big tournament for Japanese football clubs.

Moving to New Teams

From 2011 to 2014, Abe played for Shonan Bellmare. He played in 50 games for them. After that, he moved to Giravanz Kitakyushu for two years (2015-2016). He played 48 matches there.

Later Career

From 2017 to 2020, Nobuyuki Abe played for Nagano Parceiro. He appeared in 58 games for this club. In 2021, he returned to his former club, FC Tokyo. He finished his career playing for Iwate Grulla Morioka in 2022.

Throughout his professional career, Nobuyuki Abe played in 157 matches. As a goalkeeper, he did not score any goals.
