Early Life and Family
Noel Lee was born into a well-known family. His father was Sir Joseph Cocksey Lee. Noel Lee also had a son, Captain Noel Desmond Lee. His son later served in the 8th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps. Tragically, Captain Noel Desmond Lee was killed on the Western Front during the war on August 24, 1917.
