Norman Towns (born December 26, 1985) is an American actor, comedian, and producer. You might know him from his role as Bennett on the HBO show Insecure or from the TV series The Affair.

Early Life and Education
Norman Towns was born in Los Angeles, California. He discovered his passion for comedy and writing early on. By the time he was 14, he was already writing his own comedy skits. Before he started acting in movies and TV shows, Towns spent four years performing as a stand-up comedian.
Besides being funny, Towns was also a talented athlete. He played basketball while attending the University of Providence in Montana. He was a great student, too, and graduated magna cum laude, which is a special honor for students with very high grades.
Acting Career

In 2014, Norman Towns got his first big acting job. He played the famous boxer Muhammad Ali in the documentary film I Am Ali. This was a huge start for his career in the film industry.
Television and Film Roles
Towns has appeared in many popular TV shows. In 2019, he starred in the BET series Games People Play. That same year, he also appeared as a guest star on the HBO comedy Insecure. The show's creators liked his performance so much that they brought him back for a bigger, recurring role in the fourth season.
In 2020, Towns took on a new challenge by becoming an executive producer. He helped create the movie "The Dunbar Heist," which is based on the true story of a famous robbery in 1997.
