A Look at Norton's School History

For many years, Norton had its own high school. However, in 1968, a fire unfortunately destroyed Norton High School. After the fire, students from Norton had to go to school in nearby towns. They were split between the school districts of Ballinger, Bronte, and Winters. Even though the high school was destroyed, part of the original school building is still standing today. It is now used as a community center, a place where people in Norton can gather for different activities.
