Where is Norvella Heights?
This neighborhood is in the city of Norfolk, Virginia. A big highway called I-64 now runs through the area. When I-64 was built, it actually split the Norview district into two parts: East Norview and West Norview. Norvella Heights is also surrounded by other important roads. Homes and History
Many of the houses in Norvella Heights are older, built around the 1950s. They are mostly single-story homes. For a long time, there was a large warehouse building in the neighborhood. It was located near Norvella Avenue and Vivian Street. In the mid-2000s, this old warehouse was taken down. After that, new and larger homes were built in its place.
A Home for Military Families
Norvella Heights is a popular place for military personnel to live. This is because it's very close to a major highway exit for I-64. This makes it easy for them to get to Naval Station Norfolk. Naval Station Norfolk is a very large naval base. Living close by helps military families with their daily commutes.
Dealing with Flooding
