Oak Dale is easy to find! It sits right along Texas State Highway 108. You can spot it just south of where Highway 108 crosses Fm-3205. This location places it in a quiet, rural part of Texas.
What Was in Oak Dale?
Even though it's not a big city, Oak Dale had several important places that served its residents. Through the 2000s, the community was home to a Primitive Baptist Church. There was also a cemetery, which often serves as a historical record for a community.
Next to the cemetery, there was a Community Center. This would have been a place for people to gather. Oak Dale also had a Soda Shoppe and a Steak House, which were likely popular spots for food and drinks. A Volunteer Fire Department was also present, helping to keep the community safe.
