These included Military Stories (1922), which had 18 tales. He also wrote New military stories (1924), featuring 14 more stories. A famous story from this collection is called Father.
Later Works and Collected Stories
Lazo Baeza continued writing about similar themes in Other military stories (1944) and The last gallop (1944). In 1951, he published Men and horses. His final known work was Plot (1957), which was a collection of his selected stories.
