History of Orchard Farm
The name "Orchard Farm" tells us something important about its past! This community was named because there were many fruit orchards, like apple or peach farms, growing near where the town first started.
A post office was opened in Orchard Farm in 1894. This was a very important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years, but it eventually closed down in 1953.
