Orla de Brí was born in 1965. Her hometown is Beaumont in Dublin, Ireland. She started her creative journey by studying fashion. She attended the Grafton Academy.
From Fashion to Fine Art
After her fashion studies, Orla worked as a designer. She created items for popular clothing brands. Later, she moved to Kilmoon, County Meath. There, she started a family.
Even with a family, Orla kept learning. She decided to study art. She focused on sculpture and bronze casting. She learned from teachers at the North Strand VEC. She also studied at the National College of Art and Design.
