Ovidi Montllor (born February 4, 1942, in Alcoi, Spain – died March 10, 1995, in Barcelona, Spain) was a talented singer, songwriter, and actor from the Valencian Community. He was known for his powerful voice and engaging stage presence.

Ovidi Montllor's Career Highlights

Ovidi Montllor was born in Alcoi. When he was 24, he moved to Barcelona. There, he joined several independent theater groups. He worked with famous theater artists like Núria Espert.

In 1968, Ovidi started singing. He performed songs with lyrics by other writers. He also wrote many of his own songs. He became a key part of the Nova Cançó movement. This was a movement of artists who sang in Catalan. They often sang about social and political topics.
