Pallathur Venkatachalam Nandhidhaa (born on April 10, 1996) is a talented chess player from Tamil Nadu, India. She holds important titles in chess, like Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and Woman International Master (WIM). She was the 17th Indian woman to become a Grandmaster.
Nandhidhaa is a top chess player with a high rating of 2380. She has also achieved 8 International Master norms. In 2024, she became the National Women Chess Champion.
She won a gold medal at the Asian Chess Championship in New Delhi in 2022. This made her only the 9th Indian woman to win this big title. She played very well, winning 7.5 out of 9 games without losing any. This win also helped her qualify for the Women's Chess World Cup 2023. Nandhidhaa has won many medals, including 7 at Commonwealth and Asian Chess Championships in different age groups. She also has 6 National Chess Championship gold medals.
