Paige Nicole Sander (born June 21, 1995) is an American former volleyball player. She was a middle blocker, which is a key position in volleyball.
Paige played college volleyball for the University of Minnesota from 2013 to 2016. During her time there, she was recognized as an All-American player. She also joined the U.S. national team. With the national team, she won gold medals at the 2017 and 2018 Pan American Cup. She also played in the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix tournament.

About Paige Sander
Paige Sander grew up in Stewartville, Minnesota. She played volleyball for her high school team there.
Paige has a twin sister named Hannah. Hannah also played volleyball with Paige at the University of Minnesota and on the national team. In 2022, Paige married Brenden Sander, who was also a player for the men's national volleyball team.
Paige's College Volleyball Career
Playing for Minnesota
Paige Sander started her college volleyball career at the University of Minnesota in 2013. In her first year, she played in 21 sets.
In 2014, her second year, Paige became a Third Team All-American. She played in almost every set and started all 31 matches. She was great at blocking, averaging 1.55 blocks per set. This was the second-best record in her school's history for a single season. She was the third-best blocker in the country and led the Big Ten Conference in blocks per set. She also played for the United States Collegiate Team.
In 2015, Paige played for Team USA Volleyball's Collegiate National Team again. They competed in the World University Games in South Korea. For Minnesota, she started all 35 matches and played in all 129 sets. She was second on her team in blocks and third in kills and points. Minnesota made it to the NCAA final four that year. Paige had 13 kills in the match, but her team lost to Texas.
During her final year in 2016, Minnesota reached the NCAA final four for the second year in a row. Paige helped her team win against UCLA in the elite eight round with 7 kills. In the final four, she had seven kills and five blocks. Her team lost to Stanford, who went on to win the national championship. After her senior season, Paige became the first player from the University of Minnesota to win the Senior CLASS Award. She finished her college career with 783 kills, 249 digs, and 495 blocks.
Paige's National and Professional Career
Playing for the U.S. National Team
After college, Paige joined the U.S. senior national team. With the team, she earned a gold medal at the 2017 and 2018 Pan American Cup. She also took part in the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix tournament, where her team finished in 5th place.
Playing for Professional Clubs
Paige Sander also played professional volleyball. She played in Puerto Rico from 2016 to 2017 and in Germany from 2017 to 2019.
