What You'll Find at Palmas del Mar

Palmas del Mar is a huge area, covering about 2,750 acres (that's over 11 square kilometers!). This big resort has more than 25 different neighborhoods. You can find all kinds of homes here, from single-family houses to large estates and villas.

This community is like a small town! It has its own bank and shops. There are also 16 restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat. For fun, there are two golf courses and 20 tennis courts. The country club has a spa where you can relax. There's also a beach club for enjoying the ocean. The whole area is very safe, with security watching over it 24 hours a day. You'll also find a marina and yacht club for boats.

The Palmas Academy School

Inside Palmas del Mar, there's a private school called The Palmas Academy. It was started in 1992 by parents and teachers. This school welcomes both boys and girls. It's not connected to any religion. Most classes are taught in English, but students also learn excellent Spanish.

The school campus is big, covering about 18 acres (over 72,000 square meters). It's surrounded by nature, which makes it a great place to learn. Students at The Palmas Academy can use many of the facilities around Palmas del Mar.

Sports and Clubs

Sports are a big part of school life here. Students can play soccer, volleyball, golf, and basketball. They also enjoy tennis, cross country running, track and field, and swimming.

Besides sports, the school has many fun clubs. Some popular ones include The Drama Club and The Debate Club. There's also The Environmental Club and The Living Green Team, which focus on nature. Other clubs are El Club de Oratoria, Advanced Art, and The Student Council.

Nature and Wildlife

Palmas del Mar is also home to a special natural area. It's called the Palmas del Mar Tropical Forest. This forest is a protected area. It helps keep the local plants and animals safe. It's a great place to explore nature right within the resort!
