Palmira is a small area in Panama. It is part of the Boquete District in the Chiriquí Province. Palmira is known as a corregimiento, which is like a local administrative area or a small county.

Palmira covers an area of about 57.5 square kilometers (22.2 square miles). In 2010, about 1,776 people lived there. This means there were about 30.9 people for every square kilometer.

The population has changed over the years:

Palmira has three main populated areas. These are Palmira Centro, Palmira Arriba, and Palmira Abajo. These places have some houses close together.
