Pamela J. Marshall (born May 31, 1954) is an American musician and composer. She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts. Pamela studied music at two famous schools: the Eastman and Yale Schools of Music. She learned to play the French horn, create electronic music, and conduct orchestras.
After finishing her studies, she moved to Lexington, Massachusetts. Pamela plays the French horn in orchestras. She also writes music for many different instruments, like the synthesizer, brass instruments, mandolin, and even full orchestras. Since 2015, she has been an important part of The k a rl h e nn i ng Ensemble in Boston, playing the horn and writing music for them.
Pamela Marshall has also worked with technology. She wrote computer programs and created sounds for a company called Kurzweil Music Systems, which makes musical instruments. She also worked as a technical writer at Powersoft Corporation. Later, she started her own company, Spindrift Music, to publish her own music.
