Panama gets a lot of rain, especially in its mountains. Each year, up to 3000 millimeters of rain can fall there. This rainwater collects underground in a natural storage area called an aquifer. As the water sits in the aquifer, it picks up important minerals from the earth.

Selling Water Around the World
Panama Springs S.A. was the first water company from Panama to sell its water in the United States. However, today, Panama Blue water is only sold within Panama. To help promote their brand to other countries, Panama Springs S.A. helped sponsor a big travel fair. This event was called the International Tourism Fair (ITB) and took place at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin in 2014.
