Rodolfo Paolo Suárez Díaz (born on June 6, 1980, in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a former professional football player. He played as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both defend and attack.
Paolo is also the older brother of famous footballer Luis Suárez. Luis plays for Inter Miami and the Uruguay national team.

Paolo Suárez had a long and successful career in football. He played many games, mostly in El Salvador.
Playing for Clubs
Paolo started his professional career in 1996. He played for several clubs over the years. In 2005, he joined A.D. Isidro Metapán in El Salvador. He played his 200th game in the Salvadoran League in 2013. This was a big achievement for him.
In January 2013, Paolo went to play for Comunicaciones in Guatemala. This was a temporary move, called a loan deal. He played there for a year before returning to Isidro Metapán.
Later, in 2016, Suárez moved to a new team called C.D. Sonsonate. He played one season with them. After that, he returned to Isidro Metapán again in 2017.
Retirement from Football
Paolo Suárez announced he was retiring from football in May 2018. He had played a total of 368 games in the top division of El Salvador. During his career, he scored 73 goals. He also won many championships with his teams.
