Discovering Park Farm
Park Farm is divided into two main sections, like two different parts of the same puzzle.
The Original Park Farm
The first part of Park Farm stretches up a hill. It goes from Parkhill Square all the way to Mull Avenue. This was the first area to be built.
Upper Park Farm
The second part is called Upper Park Farm. It was built a bit later, in the late 1960s. This section is located south of Mull Avenue and includes streets around Oronsay Avenue.
Streets Named After Islands
A cool fact about Park Farm is that all its streets are named after beautiful Scottish islands! Imagine living on a street named after an island. Some of these island-inspired street names include:
- Stroma Avenue
- Islay Avenue
- Rona Avenue
- Pladda Avenue
- Westray Avenue
- Sandray Avenue
- Tiree Avenue
- Staffa Avenue
- Iona Road
- Skye Road
- Arran Avenue
