Pat Neely, born on July 20, 1964, is a famous American chef. He is also a TV star and an author. He helped run Neely's Bar-B-Que, a popular restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee. Pat and his former wife, Gina, hosted two fun cooking shows on the Food Network. These shows were called Down Home with the Neelys and Road Tasted with the Neelys. They even wrote a cookbook together. Their show Down Home was very popular when it first started.

About Pat Neely's Life
Pat Neely was born in Detroit, Michigan. He met Gina Ervin when they were in high school in the 1980s. They started dating back then. Later, Pat and Gina got married in 1994. They have two daughters together, named Spenser and Shelbi.
Neely's Barbecue Restaurants
In 1988, Pat Neely and his three brothers, Gaelin, Tony, and Mark, opened a barbecue restaurant. It was in downtown Memphis. Their uncle, Jim Neely, who was also a well-known Memphis restaurateur, helped them. Jim Neely owned Jim Neely's Interstate Bar-B-Que.
The brothers' restaurant business grew. They opened four Neely’s Bar-B-Que locations. Two were in Memphis and two were in Nashville. One of their Memphis locations caught fire in 2008.
Pat and Gina Neely also opened a restaurant in New York City. It was called Neely's Barbecue Parlor and opened in 2011. In 2013, the two Neely's Bar-B-Que locations in Memphis closed down.
Pat Neely on Television
Pat Neely and his then-wife Gina hosted two cooking shows. They were on the Food Network. The shows were Down Home with the Neelys and Road Tasted with the Neelys. Down Home started airing in February 2008.
Another Food Network star, Paula Deen, helped them get their first show. In 2006, Paula's sons, Bobby and Jamie Deen, visited the Neely's Nashville restaurant for their show Road Tasted. Paula Deen herself ate at the Neely's Memphis restaurant in September 2006. She was very impressed with their food. In January 2007, the Neelys were invited to appear on Paula's own show, Paula's Party.
The Neelys filmed many seasons of Down Home. It became a very popular show. After its success, the Neelys took over the Road Tasted show in July 2008. It was then renamed Road Tasted with the Neelys. Pat Neely also hosted a show called Save to Win. It aired on The CW from 2016 to 2017.
Pat Neely's Cookbook
In May 2009, Pat and Gina Neely released their first cookbook. It was titled "Down Home with the Neelys: A Southern Family Cookbook." They wrote it with Paula Disbrowe. The famous chef Paula Deen wrote the introduction for their book.
