Patron the DepthMC was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His parents are from Jamaica. His family moved a lot between Florida and Maryland. Baltimore eventually became his main hometown. He went to 13 different schools before college.

In high school, he started running hurdles. He also worked as an intern at Johns Hopkins Hospital. At age sixteen, he began playing the saxophone. He was inspired after hearing Kenny G's album "Breathless." His family was very religious, so only church music was allowed at home.

He received a scholarship to Columbia Union College for his running skills. He started studying to become a heart surgeon. He taught himself to play the piano. Within six months, he was performing for large crowds of five thousand people.

After three semesters, he moved to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He left UMBC after his third semester and moved to Los Angeles, California. For three years, he lived without a stable home at times. He played piano on the promenades in Santa Monica and Venice Beach to earn money.

Things changed when he wrote a song called "The Glory." It was for Olympic programming and published by RIM music group. He then released two solo piano albums. These albums led to tours around the world. He also signed a record deal with High Horse Records. He performed in many places across Japan and Europe.

Later, he began creating his own music beats. He mixed these beats with his piano playing. He produced and mixed all his music himself. He also created music for several commercials in Europe. This led to a publishing deal with WAP Publishing in London, England.
