Paul Singer was an important German politician who lived from 1844 to 1911. He was a key leader in the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) during the late 1800s and early 1900s. This party worked to make life better for working people and create a fairer society.

Singer joined the SPD in 1878. From 1890 until he passed away in 1911, he was a co-chairman of the party. He shared this leadership role with another important figure, August Bebel.

Paul Singer's grave is part of a special place called the Memorial to the Socialists. This memorial is located in the Friedrichsfelde Central Cemetery in Berlin, Germany. It honors many people who fought for social justice.
