Pedro Sánchez Falconete was a Spanish architect from Seville, a city in Spain. He lived in the 1600s.

He is famous for finishing a very important building in Seville. This building is called the Archivo General de Indias. It holds many old and important documents about the history of Spain and its former colonies.

Pedro Sánchez Falconete's Work

In 1644, Pedro Sánchez Falconete helped build a new church. It was built on the site where an old hospital, called the Hospital de la Caridad, used to be. Another architect, Leonardo de Figueroa, later made some changes to Falconete's plans as the church was being built.

Churches He Designed

Falconete also designed parts of other churches. At the Iglesia del Sagrario, he created the Puerta del Perdón, which means "Door of Forgiveness," and another large entrance. He also worked on the Iglesia de Santa María la Blanca, making changes and improvements to its design.
