Pegasus is a popular pop/rock band from Biel, Switzerland. The band members grew up together, sharing music ideas and practicing in a basement. Their songs often talk about things happening today and have a classic pop sound.

The Band's Journey

Early Days and First Album

Three of the band members, Noah Veraguth, Gabriel Spahni, and Simon Spahr, lived on the same street. They also went to the same schools. They spent a lot of their childhood making music together.

Later, Stefan Brenner joined the band. After he joined, they worked hard to get a record deal. Their first album, called A Place To Be, came out in 2007. It was quite successful, and people liked it a lot.

Winning Awards with New Music

Their second album was named Heroes & Champions and was released in 2010. This album helped them win a special award! They received the Swiss Music Award for "Best Newcomer National." This means they were the best new band in Switzerland. Some of their hit songs from this album include "Listen To The Music," "Come Down With Me," and "Easy."

Big Hits and Olympic Fame

In 2011, Pegasus released their third successful album, Human.Technology. This album was very popular. By July 2012, it reached second place on the Swiss music charts!

They later released a special version of the album called Human.Technology 2.0 in 2012. This version included new popular songs like "Man On Mars" and "Rise Up (Black Dog)." It also featured the song "Skyline." "Skyline" became super famous because it was chosen as the official Swiss Olympic song for the London 2012 games. It even reached number one on the Swiss charts!

After their albums, Pegasus went on tour. They started their "Human.Technology Tour" in September and did a second tour in February.

Noah Veraguth's Other Projects

Noah Veraguth, the lead singer, also works with other musicians. In 2011, he created a song called "Elle" with a Swiss artist named Stress. He also worked with M.A.M and Karolyn on an album called Noël’s Room in 2012, which was also very successful.

Awards and Achievements

  • In 2010, Pegasus won the "Newcomer National" award.
  • In 2013, their song "Skyline" won the "Best Hit National" award.
